Pottstown Memorial Day Parade

  • High St. Pottstown from North Adams to Manatawny St. (map)

To honor those who have given the last full measure of devotion to this country we will once again gather along High St. in Pottstown to be together as a community and enjoy a parade celebrating those veterans of the armed services who have died for our country.
The parade concludes with a memorial service in Pottstown, Memorial Park.

The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales, the symbol of quality and tradition for Anheuser-Busch since 1933, are scheduled to appear in the parade this year.

The eight-horse hitch will be harnessed and hitched to the famous red beer wagon at the Goodwill Fire Company, 714 East High Street, beginning at 10:15 AM on May 29th.  The “Gentle Giants,” as they are often referred to, will participate in the Pottstown Memorial Day Parade.  The parade will proceed west along High Street, north on Manatawny Street and west along King Street before ending in Memorial Park.
