Tradesmen and specialized artisans formed a large part of the colonial world, a world where nearly everything was handmade or built by a worker highly specialized in his craft. “Smiths” working with iron, tin or other metals, as well as many other craftsmen, provided practical and luxury goods to colonial buyers. Come see what’s being made!
